Don’t let worldly lies corrupt your marriage. Over 500,000 copies of Plain Talks on Marriage sold! Plain Talks on Marriage is back in print for the first time since the 1900s.  Society has suffered the devil’s many attacks on marriage and family since the last publication of Fr. Fulgence Meyer’s work. Sister Lucia, the Fatima visionary, even warned our times that “The final battle between the Lord and the kingdom of Satan will be about Marriage and the Family.” Today, every major issue attacks marriage and the family. The Marriage of the Virgin Mary and St. Joseph As truth about the sanctity of marriage has been silenced, divorce has become rampant and same-sex unions have been legalized. Families have been severely injured by birth control and abortion. The straightforward truth Plain Talks on Marriage offers is a solution to the evils of the world. It contains practical counsel and wisdom relevant for every Catholic married couple. What’s Inside Plain Talks on Marriage? Plain Talks on Marriage contains the antidotal truth to the destructive lies society proclaims about marriage and family. Specifically, this book addresses the following: Chapter I: Happiness in Marriage Chapter II: The Nature of Marriage Chapter III: The Purposes and Privileges of Marriage Chapter IV: Sins Against Holy...

The Foundations of Science A Catholic Elementary School Science Curriculum The Foundations of Science series introduces children to the wonders of the natural world in light of God’s providential care over creation, and the first 4 volumes are releasing over the course of the 2021-22 academic year. Foundations of Science covers an extensive scope of scientific studies, from animals and plants, to the depths of the ocean and the marvels of our planet. Still more, it reveals the intricate order found beneath the surface of creation and chronicles many of the Church’s contributions to science throughout history. The first volume, Animals: Creatures of the Wild, offers a tour of the animal kingdom and the habitats in which mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, insects, and fish live and thrive. Children will discover how animals find and hunt for food, how and why they live in concert with other animals, why they migrate or hibernate, and more. What do animals have to do with our Catholic Faith? How is virtue similar to the protective exoskeleton of some insects? And how does a lesson on reptiles lead to a discussion of Mary’s battle with Satan from Genesis to Revelation? The accompanying video lecture series connects lessons from the textbook to truths about faith,...

Tomorrow, May 19, 2021, presentation of IX volume of critical edition of Don Bosco’s Epistolary

Tomorrow, May 19, 2021, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. (ITALY TIME; 9AM-10:30AM NY time), at the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome, the ninth volume of the critical edition of Don Bosco’s Epistolary will be presented. It collects a little less than 500 letters written by the saint in the years 1884-1886. Letters of government, letters of animation, letters of daily affairs, letters of educational formation, letters of congratulations and good wishes, letters of requests for economic aid with relative thanks… in short, a series of letters of various kinds, many of which are unpublished, addressed to every category of people: from the highest civil and religious authorities (emperors, ministers, popes and cardinals) to simple laymen, men, women and young people.  It will be broadcast: https://youtu.be/l6X0wL_LKkM Although elderly and physically almost a “shadow of his former self,” in the three years under consideration Don Bosco continued undaunted to govern and animate the Congregation through his correspondence. He even extended them to new correspondents scattered throughout the world: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Belgian, Polish, English, German, Austrian, Hungarian, Chilean, Argentine, Uruguayan and Brazilian. What emerges is a new face of Don Bosco, in many ways current, which with the nine volumes...
