First meeting of the Global Lead Team of DB Green Alliance

By Ms. Taichi Miranda EAO Coordinator World, 27 July 2020 — The Global Lead Team of the Don Bosco Green Alliance (DBGA) convened for the first time in a virtual meeting on 25 July 2020, 6:30pm Mumbai time. It was attended by Fr. Savio Silveira, SDB, the Convener of the alliance, Macson Almeida, the Executive Secretary, the representatives of each region namely Fr. Silvio Torres, SDB (America South Cone), Br. John Njuguna, SDB (Africa-Madagascar), Fr. JerryThomas Pathikulangara, SDB (South Asia), Ms. Mariana Cejudo (Interamerica) and Taichi Miranda (EAO). Two other representatives from Europe are still to be finalized and soon will be on board with the team. Getting to know one another was one of the main objectives since it was the first meeting. Fr. Savio presented to everyone the DBGA in a nutshell. The role and responsibilities of the regional representatives were initially brainstormed. Although the team has yet to finalize the profile of the regional coordinators in the next meeting, Fr.
