Home About Events Stories Resources Contact APRIL 4, 2020 BROTHERS SYMPOSIUM Please join us for the National Religious Brothers Symposium at Boston College.  This triennial event will bring together religious brothers and those who work with brothers in leadership, formation, vocations, and ministerial work to hold up and promote the vocation of the Catholic religious brother. Join us in Boston to learn, discuss, and celebrate the life and vocation of Catholic religious brothers. We will start with a reception on Friday evening (and optional Friday excursion to Spencer Abbey). On Saturday, Br. Guy J. Consolmagno, SJ, director of the Vatican observatory will offer our keynote address, while the founder of the San Miguel Schools and Subprior of Newark Abbey share their insights as “Living Witnesses of the Prophetic Call.” Breakout sessions will focus on vocations/formation, prayer and communio, and mission and prophesy. Source: Italia – UPS: 34° corso formatori (ANS – Roma) – Dal 18 febbraio al 31 maggio 2019 presso l’Università Pontificia Salesiana (UPS) si svolgerà il 34° Corso di Formazione Permanente per formatori vocazionali di vita consacrata, del clero diocesano e per animatori di comunità. Tale corso è sempre un apprezzatissimo servizio alla Chiesa, alle Diocesi e alla Vita Consacrata in particolare. Lo scopo del corso è quello di favorire la formazione integrale secondo il carisma proprio e l’idoneità del ministero presbiterale e viene articolato in cinque dimensioni, strettamente vincolate tra loro e tali da permettere un forte rilancio della vita consacrata e presbiterale nei suoi aspetti essenziali e vitali: spirituale/biblico; teologico; antropologico (psico – sociologico – culturale); ecclesiale/carismatico; pedagogico/esperienziale. La formula di carattere sapienziale – pratico, ormai più che collaudata, indirizza il Corso in particolare a chi ha già esperienza di formatore / trice e intende fare quattro mesi di formazione permanente per l’aggiornamento del suo servizio, in vista della sua missione. Source: Italie – UPS : 34e cours pour formateurs (ANS – Rome) – Du 18 février au 31 mai 2019, à l’Université Pontificale Salésienne (UPS) aura lieu le 34e Cours de Formation Permanente pour formateurs vocationnels de vie consacrée, du clergé diocésain et pour animateurs de communautés. Ce cours est toujours un très apprécié service à l’Eglise, aux Diocèses et à la Vie Consacrée en particulier. Le but du cours est celui de favoriser la formation intégrale selon le charisme propre et l’aptitude au ministère sacerdotal et il est articulé en cinq dimensions, strictement liées entre elles et telles qui permettent un nouvel élan de la vie consacrée et presbytérale dans ses aspects essentiels et vitaux : spirituel/biblique, théologique, anthropologique (psycho-sociologique-culturel) ; ecclésial/charismatique ; pédagogique/expérimental.   La formule de caractère sapientiel/pratique, déjà expérimentée, oriente le cours vers celui qui a déjà expérience de formateur/trice et qui entend faire quatre mois de formation permanente pour la mise à jour de son service, en vue de sa mission.
