Feast of the Immaculate Conception: the “beautiful day” – Greetings of la Madre, Sr. Chiara Cazzuola, FMA

Greetings from the Mother General of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Mother Chiara Cazzuola, for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary. Rome (Italy). The Message of Greetings from the Mother General of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Mother Chiara Cazzuola, on the occasion of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary: This is the “beautiful day”! This is how Mother Mazzarello defines the days of the novena and the feast of MARY IMMACULATE! (L 16 to the Sisters of Borgo San Martino). Truly everything becomes beautiful with her. The Christian people live this feast as the triumph of the beauty of grace and celebrate Mary with the most beautiful and intense expressions of nature, of creation. In Valdocco, in Mornese, in our houses, for 150 years we have been singing to Mary with particular affection. The Marian Circle that is celebrated in each community unites us in invoking her in languages from all over the world. One wonders on what other day, if not December 8, could the call to a ‘poor priest’ and a boy to embody the Salesian charism be fulfilled, so that young people, avid for the future, for beauty, for...

Now Di BOSCo is ready to come to Canada and the US with the help of our Salesian Family members and friends. Peter will explain how this network came to be and how we can make it a reality for North America at this gathering. For whom is the gathering? Don Angel and Fr. Tim with companion SDB Provincials in Nizza Monferrato

29 October 2021 (ANS – Nizza Monferrato) – “They’re coming!” was the cry of enthusiasm with which, on Wednesday, October 27, the visit of Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major, his Vicar, Fr Stefano Martoglio, and the Provincials participating in the mid-term review course, were welcome at the Mother-House of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA), in Nizza Monferrato. The visit is the first from a Rector Major to this center, and occurs 150 years from the first visit of Don Bosco to this  Piedmontese town. This was part of the formation program of the course for the Provincials, as a journey to deepen the Salesian spirituality for women, in the footsteps of Mother Mazzarello and the first FMA. The visit to the Mother House of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians immediately began with what is most precious in it: the young people. The Vocational Training group (CIOFS-FP) of the Course for Beauticians of Nizza Monferrato illustrated to the guests the training program designed to launch the girls to enter the world of work. Then, accompanied by Sr. Paola Cuccioli, Director of the Historical Archives of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta and member of the ACSSA (Association...
