WORD of the DAY

So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come. (2 Cor : 5-17)

How shall I live this Word?

Since the world exists, human beings feel drawn to what is new.
Precisely in the measure in which their life is rooted more and more in the teachings of the Lord, that is in His Gospel, the novelty that attracts them is that which is at the center of His teaching: the pressing invitation to live the love of God and of neighbor.
It is wonderful to see that those who enter this path of love are no longer subject to discouragement, disappointment, and depression. Deciding to immerse what we desire and do in the Word, really makes life new.

At this moment I am thinking of Federica Picchi Roncali, a lay entrepreneur, who founded the Dominus production, with an important and always new mission: that of “spreading true stories of human virtue”.

Lord, grant that I may live my commitments within the continual newness that comes from Your Word and that I myself may be renewed in the light and power of Your Word.

THE VOICE OF Federica Picchi Roncali, Italian entrepreneur

I believe that the strength of any Christian is daily Holy Mass and meditation on the Word of God.
