Novena to Bl. Michael Rua for Healing

I would like to encourage everyone to pray to Bl. Michael Rua for the healing of members of the Salesian Family.  So many are suffering physically, emotionally and spiritually from the coronavirus pandemic and from other illnesses.  The memorial of Bl. Michael Rua is October 29.  A novena would begin Tuesday, October 20.  Attached is a simple prayer that joins our voices in petition for the graces we need through the intercession of Bl. Michael Rua.  Could you help promote the novena?

PRAYER FOR THE HEALING OF MEMBERS OF THE SALESIAN FAMILY

THROUGH THE INTERCESSION OF BLESSED MICHAEL RUA

 

Almighty and merciful Lord,

you called Blessed Michael Rua to be the spiritual heir

of St. John Bosco, the father and teacher of youth;

he imitated Don Bosco’s example, inherited his spirit

and propagated his works.

Now that you have raised him to the glory of the altars,

bestow your blessings on us, who invoke Blessed Michael Rua,

and hasten his glorification on earth with the splendors of canonization.  Through the intercession of Blessed Michael Rua,

grant us the graces we now humbly place before you,

if they be according your holy will and for our salvation.
