Seek Jesus!

FRIENDS and SERVANTS of the WORD March 21, 2021  Fifth Sunday of Lent WORD of the DAY  Now there were some Greeks  among those who had come up to worship at the feast. They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, “Sir, we would like to see Jesus.” (John 12:20-21) How shall I live this Word?    “We want to see Jesus” some Greeks strongly tell Philip who knew him well. “We want to see Jesus” we too ask today of those whom we think belong to Him. But is ours the cry of those who wholeheartedly want to meet the Lord of life who alone can give answers to our thirst for truth? Or is it the affirmation of those who are curious and want to meet this Rabbi who is talked about so much? Is it the yearning of those who want to be happy and know that only Jesus can help them? Or is it the desire of those who only seek to be well and, Jesus the worker of miracles, can fulfill this? Why do we want to see Jesus? Why are we looking for Him? Do we really need...
