Jesus heals us

FRIENDS and SERVANTS of the WORD FEBRUARY 14, 2021  Sunday – Week Six WORD of the DAY  A leper came to Jesus and kneeling down begged him and said, “If you wish, you can make me clean.” Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand,  touched him, and said to him,  “I do will it. Be made clean.” The leprosy left him immediately, and he was made clean.    (Mark 1: 40 -42) How shall I live this Word?   Jesus performs miracles because He is attentive to the other, because He hold others at heart, He does not use the pain of others to receive applause, to do evangelical marketing. For this reason He tries to convince people not to make too much noise about their encounter with Him, but how can the joy you feel inside be contained when you find yourself healed? Understandable, yet the consequence for Jesus is that of being forced to stay outside the cities to prevent the crowds from getting hurt in an attempt to get closer to Him.
