ADORE JESUS

FRIENDS and SERVANTS of the WORD EPHIPANY OF THE LORD JANUARY 6, 2021 WORD of the DAY   They were overjoyed at seeing the star,  and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did him homage. Then they opened their treasures and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. (Matthew 2: 10-11) How shall I live this Word?   Three wise men, scanning the eastern skies, saw an extraordinary star. They decide to follow it to discover its mystery. They leave home, family,  friends and set off. They follow the path of the shining light that precedes them. They learn from the Jewish scribes and doctors what Sacred Scripture had foretold of the birth of Christ. They resume their journey, see the star that precedes them again, and are led by its light to Bethlehem and, as the evangelist tells us, “They were overjoyed at seeing the star,  and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother. FRIENDS and SERVANTS of the WORD CHRISTMAS DAY BIRTHDAY OF JESUS, OUR KING December 25, 2020 WORD of the DAY  While they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to her firstborn son.  She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.   Now there were shepherds in that region living in the fields and keeping the night watch over their flock. The angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were struck with great fear.  The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest and on earth...
