FOURTH FRIDAY OF EASTER TIME

FRIENDS and SERVANTS of the WORD FOURTH FRIDAY of EASTER TIME May 8, 2020 WORD of the DAY “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me. (John 14: 1) How shall I live this Word? If you, Jesus, go away, what will we do? This temptation to live as orphans, as it had taken the disciples by surprise, occasionally catches us too. But Jesus continues to repeat: “Have faith … I will not leave you, I will not abandon you … continue to believe.” Fear is a void that Jesus’ love wants to fill; yes, the Love of Jesus fills it. He makes Himself present in a new way, His presence is the closeness of Charity. He remains among us when “we love each other as He loved us.” His Spirit among us makes us live in Him, with Him, for Him!
