34th Friday in Ordinary Time

FRIENDS and SERVANTS of the WORD December 1, 2017 34th Friday in Ordinary Time   WORD of the DAY Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. (Luke 21: 33) How shall I live this Word? “Your Word is a lamp to my steps and light on my path”.  This biblical expression has given courage and strength to numberless people.  It is moving to see it inscribed on the tomb of Cardinal Martini, who more than others, experienced its efficacy and sweetness.  Our God is a God who is close, with His Son, the Living Word, He is always beside us.  He continues to illumine our road with hope, knowing that even if everything else changes, His love remains eternal.   The Voice of St. Teresa of Avila Let nothing disturb you, nothing frighten you. Everything passes.  God does not change. Patience obtains everything. Those who possess God, lack for nothing. God alone is enough. __________________________________________________________________________________ Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Via dell’Ateneo Salesiano 81, 00139 Rome, Italy E-mail: srmterzo@gmail.com – Website: www.sanbiagio.org  info@sanbiagio.org Blog: livingscripture.wordpress.com Comment by Sr. Graziella Curti,...
