BE CHILD-LIKE

FRIENDS and SERVANTS of the WORD FIRST TUESDAY OF ADVENT December 1, 2020 WORD of the DAY  At that very moment he rejoiced [in] the holy Spirit and said, “I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike.  Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will.”    (Luke 10: 21) How shall I live this Word?   Children will save the world because they are pure, clean, they do not judge, they do not use double meanings, they look at everything with limpid eyes and have a good heart. Only they are capable of praying for Judas because ‘no one prays for him’, only they are capable of not seeing colors, differences, disabilities, defects. Only they are able to divide what they have into a thousand pieces so that everyone has some and to be concerned about injustice and discrimination. Only they know how to dry the tears of those who cry by embracing and kissing those in pain.
