The WORD is JESUS

FRIENDS and SERVANTS of the WORD CHRISTMAS THURSDAY December 31, 2020 WORD of the DAY  And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth. (John 1: 14) How shall I live this Word?   “The Word became flesh”: the becoming flesh of the Word is history with Jesus, who descends on this earth. For us it is life, received and understood: the Gospel read or heard generates us to faith, enlightens us, and tells us who we are. If for a moment we let go of our occupations, which risk engulfing us without giving us what is necessary, He will also descend into our life to recreate it. He will also become for us a visible, concrete, operative Word, able to flow in us, fertilize us, purify our inner self.
