SIXTH SATURDAY OF EASTER TIME

FRIENDS and SERVANTS of the WORD SIXTH SATURDAY OF EASTER TIME May 23, 2020 WORD of the DAY On that day you will not question me about anything. Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you. Until now you have not asked anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete. (John 16, 23-24) How shall I live this Word? “Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.” This may seem like an egotistical message, the more you ask, the more you will have, and the more you will feel good and will be happy. But this is not how it is. True joy is that of children who feel loved, protected, followed by their Father and ask Him freely and with love. They accept even a no because what is important is knowing that we are always His children! This is the joy of the Father that is felt only when He has a child to be with in a relationship with, a child to love, protect, listen to, correct. This is the joy of those who...
