Remain faithful to Jesus.

FRIENDS and SERVANTS of the WORD March 31, 2021  WEDNESDAY OF HOLY WEEK WORD of the DAY  One of the Twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot,  went to the chief priests and said, “What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?” …When it was evening, he reclined at table with the Twelve. And while they were eating, he said,  “Amen, I say to you, one of you will betray me.” …Then Judas, his betrayer, said in reply, “Surely it is not I, Rabbi?”He answered, “You have said so.”             (Matthew 26: 14-15,20-22, 25) How shall I live this Word?    Jesus is free in  giving   Himself, He does not hold back. He himself indicates the place where He wants to meet us to declare His love for us and to hand over to us His Mystery, and He does so with tenderness and attention. At the same time, He firmly denounces the evil present in our heart.  “One of you will betray me”, unmasks the evil that inclines our heart to trade the truth, remaining a prisoner of limited and earthly logic. And the question that crosses the lips of all the disciples passes...
