FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY

FRIENDS and SERVANTS of the WORD IMMACULATE HEART OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY June 20, 2020 WORD of the DAY When his parents saw him, they were astonished, and his mother said to him, “Son, why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been looking for you with great anxiety.” (Luke: 2: 48) How shall I live this Word? After the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the liturgy proposes looking at another heart, that of Mary. Today we celebrate the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Gospel presents us the Mother of Jesus, and Joseph, who are looking for a Son who has made an unexpected choice, that of remaining in Jerusalem without telling anyone. Even Mary, as every mother, sees her son grow, make choices she has not foreseen, not thought of. It generates wonder, and the Gospel even speaks of anguish!
