EASTER WEDNESDAY

  FRIENDS and SERVANTS of the WORD EASTER WEDNESDAY, April 4, 2018 JESUS IS ALWAYS WITH US! WORD of the DAY  Peter said, “I have neither silver nor gold, but what I do have I give you: in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean, [rise and] walk.   (Acts 3: 6) How shall I live this Word? Peter will accompany us during these days so that we may study his faith journey, made with the first Christian community.  In fact, Peter represents it in his personal experience of Jesus and in following Him. During His public life, Jesus shared with the Twelve, expressing Himself in words and with signs: gestures, attitudes, decisions about meaningful places, and also miracles.  In this way, He made them understand the power of the creative Word that is felt and acts, that by expressing itself, materializes what it intends.  Creation was continuing in its dynamism and in its beauty and novelty.  Thus, this efficacious Word became redemptive as well, bringing back the original profile of what had been ruined and forgotten by sin.  He re-created.
